It is our distinct pleasure to share the news that the World Food Programme has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2020.
In September 2018, the Economic Club of Minnesota hosted Mr. David Beasley, Executive Director of the World Food Programme as our keynote speaker for the Food Security Summit. Mr. Beasley’s remarks about the drivers of food insecurity, as well as the potential public/private solutions, inspired business and policy leaders to think more seriously about how to effectively engage in the effort to feed the hungry.
