The room was at capacity on Wednesday, February 5th as Beth Ford, President and CEO of Land O’Lakes addressed the Economic Club of Minnesota. She provided a great overview of the 100-year-old farmer-owned cooperative. From butter and animal feed to crop planning and agtech, Land O’Lakes is a leader in helping move agriculture forward. Beth provided an impassioned plea that we need to help support rural America, especially when it comes to technology. Broadband is a necessity, much like electricity was a necessity in the 1930s. Beth stressed that in order for rural communities to survive and thrive, we all need to take part in getting them access to technology.
We had wonderful media coverage following the luncheon:
Finance & Commerce, Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, and MPR News.
