Hundreds of sponsors, members, and guests joined us for the January event, The Rural Voice. The event was held virtually. Kerri Miller, journalist and MPR Host moderated a very lively discussion with Benya Kraus – Lead for America Co-Founder and Lead for Minnesota Executive Director, Kelly Asche – Research Associate, Center for Rural Policy and Development, and Teresa Kittridge – Founder at 100 Rural Women. The audience was engaged throughout the discussion by submitting excellent questions. The panel covered topics ranging from living rural as a person of color, and younger people being “rural curious,” a term coined by Kerri Miller during the conversation.
