 Timothy P. Owens has more than 25 years of experience in commercial and community banking. Since 1997, he has served as President and CEO of Voyager Financial Services Corporation, the holding company of Voyager Bank. Under his leadership, Voyager has been one of the dominant community banks in Minnesota. With assets in excess of $500 million, Voyager has been recognized as one of the strongest community banking organizations in its peer group. Owens has expertise in commercial lending, strategic planning, and leadership development. His daily activities focus on setting the course for the Voyager organization on a long-term basis. Owens is an alumnus of Southern Illinois University and a native of the Midwest. He and his family have been Twin City residents for the past 25 years. Owens has served on various non-profit and private for-profit Boards including the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines, the Center for the American Experiment, and the Minnesota Bankers Association.
Owens lives in Wayzata with his wife Rosie, and their two daughters.
